In a tragic turn of events, Pakistani actress and model Humaira Asghar Ali was found dead in her Karachi apartment on July 8, 2025. The 32-year-old’s body was discovered in an advanced state of decomposition at her residence in DHA Phase VI, shocking the entertainment community across Pakistan and beyond.
A Quiet Departure Unnoticed for Weeks
According to police officials, Humaira is believed to have passed away nearly two weeks before her body was found. The discovery came after her landlord, concerned over unpaid rent and her prolonged silence, approached the court for an eviction order. The Gizri police were directed to visit the residence in the Ittehad Commercial area and forcibly entered the flat after receiving no response.
Inside, they were met with a locked apartment and a strong foul odor—signs that something was terribly wrong.
“The apartment was locked from the inside, including the balcony door,” confirmed DIG Syed Asad Raza in an official statement.
Ongoing Investigation & Forensic Analysis
The police have reported no immediate signs of foul play, though investigations are ongoing. Forensic experts from the Crime Scene Unit were called in to collect evidence, and Humaira’s body was transferred to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC).

“The cause of death remains reserved,” said Dr. Summaiya Syed, the police surgeon at JPMC, citing the advanced stage of decomposition. A detailed postmortem report is awaited.
Authorities are also reviewing Humaira’s mobile records to trace her last known contacts and locate any surviving family members or next of kin, as she was reportedly living alone for some time and had not paid rent for several months.
